Artistry in Music HK is a studio offering personalized Music education trough individual and group class. It aims to provide people of all ages the opportunity to receive quality broad-based Musical education. In order to achieve its goal, Artistry in Music HK strives to create a learning environment through enjoyment of Music that empowers students to recognize and optimize their full potential.
Artistry In Music HK is run by Ms Ivy. Born and raised in Hong Kong SAR, Ms Ivy developed a passion for singing at the age of eight when she joined the Music Office Children choir. A graduate of the University of Hong Kong where she earned a degree in Music , Ms Ivy was fully funded by the Roslyn Lyons Master Scholarship to study for a master degree in music at the University of York(UK). Ms Ivy was also sponsored by D’Oyly charitable Trust and the Peter Curzon Oram charitable trust to study for a Postgraduate Diploma in singing at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in the UK. She currently teaches singing at the Australian International School Hong Kong (AISHK).
Besides her illustrous career in teaching, Ms Ivy is also an accomplished performer. Over the years, her unique and beautiful voice has not only earned her awards, but it has also given Ms Ivy the opportunity to feature in a number of productions. These range from performing the role of Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Lucia in Cavalleria Rusticana and Abbess in Suor Angelica with Opera Hong Kong; Principessa in Suor Angelica and Dorothee in Massenet’s Le Cendrillon at Provence France; Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro with Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar; Sally in Hand of Bridge, Zena in Katya Kabanova in RNCM production.
